Earth-13
The history of Earth-13 remains to be deeply explored. It likely diverged from other timelines deep in antiquity as the physical laws of this realm are much more aligned with chaotic, magical forces than mathematical forms evident in most timelines. The earliest documentation of activity in this timeline is the existence of Ancient Egypt with similarities to Earth-Prime/Earth-One/Earth-Two and other timelines in which Pharaohs built an empire on the back of Hebrew slaves. One of those slaves, Ya’akov ben Shimon abandoned his family to join the Egyptian royal house as "Amun" until the pharaoh's death caused him to be slain and mummified as the ruler's afterlife servant. Revealed as Hebrew by Osiris and Anubis, he was cast out of the next life as a unbeliever and charged to wander the world, atoning for his acts. He began known as the Ragman and as he atones for each act, a bandage will fall until he is finally free (A Very Merry Multiverse #1). Little else is the history of the world is known. The sole other details is the equivalent of the 19th century in which mystical form of Jonah Hex is known to reside in Salvation, Text (Wildcats Vol. 2 #7). Ragman is also known to be a tormentor of the 1940's version of Earth-13's Nazis and presumably has other casework of the centuries yet to be discovered.
Along with the Ragman, other mystical adventurers defend Earth-13 as the League of Shadows (The Multiversity Guidebook). Prominent among them is the Superdemon, Etrigan. Rocketed from the dying planet Kamelot, he is raised on Earths as the planet's most prominent heroic figure. Others includes Jared Stevens, an anti-hero who has occasionally joined villainous forces such as Injustice Incarnate (Infinite Frontier #5-6). John Constantine, in this timeline a costumed character known as Hellblazer with similar abilities and disposition as other timelines. Characters about which less is known include Deadman, the Enchantress, Annataz and the Witchboy. These individuals have counterparts across the multiverse but the degree of similarity is unknown.
Much of what is known comes from incursions into the Earth-13 timeline from other worlds. From Earth-0 Amanda Waller has endeavors to create a version of Task Force X from the Earth-13 versions of Grodd, Zatanna and Raven. The full scope of these activities is unrevealed (Round Robin #2). During a multiversal excursion by Wally West, the League of Shadows is drawn into battle with Earth-32's Outlaws of Justice (Flash Forward #4). Superdemon has encountered the Supermen across the Multiverse (Superman Vol. 4 #15) and aided Justice Incarnate in their pursuit of Darkseid via the Tavern of Mystery (Justice Incarnate #2). When vampires invaded Earth-13 from another dimension, the League of Shadows led the way to expel them (Multiversity #2). What the future holds for this world remains unknown.

Balance of Good and Evil
In general, good will out on Earth-13, though often at a higher cost that seen on other worlds. In addition, horrors, disfigurements, mental imbalance and other conditions considered atrocities in many realms are commonplace and accepted here as part of the mystical diversity of the population.
Abundance of Magic
The abundance of magic in this timeline is enormous. Virtually every character in other timelines with a mystical nature - the Phantom Stranger, Doctor Mist, Baron Winters - are prominent individuals on Earth-13. Individuals who are largely technological in other timelines - Grodd, Lex Luthor, Man-Bat and the Creeper - are wizards or other magically incarnated beings on Earth-13. The full range of magical infiltration in this timeline is not fully known.
Arrival of Heroes
Some evidence of heroic individuals dates back to ancient times with the commitment of Ragman to a life of atonement. The arrival of Superdemon on Earth has not been precisely defined and while this energy usually heralds an age of heroes, whether he fulfills a similar purpose on Earth-13 is unclear. It appears at least for circumstantial evidence that the bulk of heroes became active in the early 21st century. Whether a more extensive history exists has not been revealed.
