In the category of paying a little extra, the stand out
winner was an Archive of the Red Tornado with 38 votes. Second place was
Adam Strange with 21 votes.
My own suggestion is this: The Red Tornado can be done as a Done In One with ~220 pages of content. I think if DC announces a prior that this will cost more because on increased production costs and limited demand, and points out that the others will remain at a lower price, the market won't flinch. I also think that Sheldon Mayer is more well-established in scholarly circles than is generally imagined and that DC would be pleasant surpised by the outcome. If anything deserves this kind of experiment, the Red Tornado series is probably it. DC should do it. |
